Do You have a MSN Community Page, Yahoo Groups Pages, MP3.com Page, or maybe you are a Web TV Users, or one of several others that cannot get their site approved on webring
Why Of The Problem. All these places offer similar services. They are similar in that you can control some of the web components, such as text, or graphics. However, they are not "real" websites. You cannot completely control the look and feel of these pages, nor can you place all components on these web pages. For example, you cannot place the required JavaScript code (SSNB) on most group or community pages. One of the features of the WebRing system is that it allows Ringmasters to easily deliver and update the NavBar using JavaScript. This is the SSNB code that I require for all my rings. The Solution First, you need to creates a "real" website to host your NavBar. There are a variety of free web hosts that you could use, however our preferred free hosting service is Living Online View as it is easy to use, and ad free. They also have several free articles and tools to teach you how to make a site and to help get you started.
Once your webpage is ready you simply add a link that goes to your group or community page, then add a link back to your NavBar webpage that says clearly says Webring on your album, group or community page, Just like this one (Click thru to their homepage and you will see the link back to the webring page) This new webpage is now a "real" website and is used to join our rings, and to hold the required SSNB code.
